All Hallows Eve

I'm not sure what I want to be for Halloween yet, I'm kicking around a couple of ideas.

A Witch, like Sarah Jessica Parker in Hocus Pocus

 

A Fairy, like Shannen Doherty in Charmed. (She's dressed as a witch, but I think I would make it a fairy costume.)

I would make a headband like Diane Von Furstenberg's, for the fairy costume.

A Hippie

 

Or Princess Leia from Star Wars

Any other ideas?

Witch

I've been trying to get into the Halloween mood by renting some old movies. One movie I don't know why I've never seen was The Witches of Eastwick. I didn't love the movie, and was tempted to turn it off at so many points, but the clothing is what made me keep watching. Especially Susan Sarandon, her look in this movie is killer, her clothes and hair reminded me of magazine spreads that I would see today. Even Cher's clothing in the movie was intense. I couldn't find the best pictures to truly demonstrate the amazingness of their clothes and hair, but here are some teasers until you go out and watch the movie yourself.

Wildfox's Fall 2010 Preview did a witchcraft theme, you can see the similarities between the movie and photos, especially the hair in the photo below.

In Shoe Love

I am absolutely obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell's Lita shoe, all of the different colours and textures are to die for. Would it be wrong for one girl to own eleven different colours of the same shoe? My new found love for Jeffrey Campbell is really going to put a dent in my bank account (or my visa).
